Fannie Clawson is a native Texan and a long-time Central Texas business owner. In 1982, Al Clawson Disposal Inc. was launched becoming a successful company based on sold business principles and exemplary customer service. She has focused on serving growing communities throughout the Central Texas region which include Leander, Hutto, Cedar Park, Florence, Bartlett, Thrall, Holland, Jarrell, Salado, Bertram, Liberty Hill, and Georgetown.
Troy Clawson began his career in the collection industry helping his father. His first job was “on the back of a truck,” as he learned the ropes as a hands-on loader. Throughout this process, he has worn many hats in the company. After a stint as a loader, he was promoted to a driver and then to the maintenance shop, learning valuable lessons in the industry and the importance of maintenance from the grounds up. In 1991, he assumed the responsibility for the entire fleet maintenance and shop operations. He has been an integral part of the company and began the position as 1st Vice President in 1998.
Cynthia Clawson has more than fifteen years of accounting and business experience. She oversees the company’s finance and accounting departments and manages the day-to-day operations to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Cynthia joined the company in 1993, and became an officer in January 2004. Raised in Jarrell, she was valedictorian of her graduating class and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor.
Tanya Clawson, daughter of the owner has more than 15 years of experience coordinating with municipalities and maintaining high quality customer service. Tanya joined the company in June of 1994. Raised in Jarrell, Tanya was the salutatorian of her graduating class and adheres to the high business standards taught by her parents. She is currently involved with many of the communities that Al Clawson Disposal, Inc. serves: Chair of the Greater Leander Chamber of Commerce, serves on the Board of Directors for Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center, coordinates with WBCO for Meals on Wheels, serves on the planning and zoning committee for the City of Jarrell, and is involved with several booster clubs at Jarrell High School where her children attend.
Charles graduated from Jarrell High School in 1992, and immediately joined the United States Army. He traveled to Fort Lenard Wood, Missouri for basic training and then to Fort Knox for AIT. He was in Fort Bliss in the 3rd ACR, 2nd Squadron, and Gulf Troop as a 63T BFV Mechanic until April 1996. From April 1996 until July 1999, Charles was in Waco, Texas with 1st Squadron, 124th Armored Calvary Division. He was employed with Don Hewlett Chevrolet for 11 years where he earned his Master ASE certification and status of World Class Technician. In March 2007, Charles joined Al Clawson Disposal, Inc. as maintenance manager to oversee the operation of equipment used on a daily basis, maintain the fleet, coordinate service calls, oversee the 24 hour shop, assist with safety training, and emergency responses.
Justin Farrow earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas State University in San Marcos. Justin joined Al Clawson Disposal, Inc. in 2009. Justin plans and executes safety inspections of all workplace facilities. He also ensures that employees have safety training on a monthly basis. Justin also ensures that our federal, state, and local guidelines are observed, as well as planning, developing, and maintaining the safety policy handbook.
Gary Womack joined Al Clawson Disposal, Inc. in 2011. An effective communicator, Gary manages the different management professionals within the corporation to help keep the company running smoothly. He also formulates policy and ensures that the company is functioning under its guidelines. Gary has 12 years of experience as a general manager from American Fiber Manufacturing.
